About Chatwoot
Chatwoot is an open-source customer support platform used by businesses across the world to manage conversations with their customers across live chat, email, WhatsApp, and other channels.
We work with a wide range of customers, from small teams getting started with support to larger companies evaluating Chatwoot for serious customer communication workflows.
About the role
We are looking for a Customer Growth Associate to help us engage with customers from the moment they sign up.
In this role, you will reach out to new customers, understand what they are trying to do with Chatwoot, and help them get started in the right way. You will use our CRM, customer information, and product usage signals to understand each customer’s use case, where they are in their journey, and how we should support them.
The goal is to make sure promising customers do not try the product alone, and churn without ever speaking to us. You will help create a clear point of contact for customers, improve activation, identify churn risks, and surface expansion opportunities.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. It sits between customer success, growth, sales, and product.
What you will do
- Reach out to new customers after they sign up and understand their use case.
- Use our CRM and customer data to understand customer type, company size, product usage, setup progress, and potential fit.
- Help customers get started with Chatwoot by guiding them through the right setup, workflows, and features.
- Identify high-potential accounts that may need onboarding, technical guidance, sales follow-up, or a higher-touch conversation.
- Monitor customers who look inactive, blocked, confused, or at risk of churn, and proactively follow up with them.
- Identify expansion opportunities across higher plans, more agents, enterprise subscriptions, managed hosting, Captain usage, and self-hosted support subscriptions.
- Keep the CRM updated with customer context, use cases, risks, next steps, and important conversations.
- Share recurring customer feedback, objections, churn reasons, and product gaps with the internal team.
- Work closely with support, sales, product, and engineering to make sure the right customers get the right attention.
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in customer success, sales, account management, growth, support, or a similar customer-facing role.
